When the FIFA World Cup of soccer came to the United States for the first time in 1994, the organizers sought to convey the world’s passion for its favorite game to an American audience and build an American soccer community. Bowman Design Group designed and managed the creation of SoccerFest, a 500,000 sq. ft. interactive festival and theme park, where more than 200,000 visitors participated in World Cup activities. SoccerFest brought families, corporate sponsors, FIFA, and soccer enthusiasts from around the world together in an exciting international venue.
