In April 2004, the National Academy of Sciences opened the Marian Koshland Science Museum in Washington, DC, a new museum exploring links between scientific research and everyday life. Bowman Design Group worked with some of the nation’s leading scientists to create the museum, including the inaugural exhibitions and multimedia programs, interior architecture, identity and marketing graphics, and print ads.
The Marian Koshland Science Museum presents “the science behind the headlines” and clarifies the complexities of current and often controversial scientific issues in engaging and accessible ways through state-of-the-art exhibits, interactive media, videos and the latest scientific projections.
