In 2006, the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) was commissioned with a unique museum aboard. Designed for the rigors of life at sea, the exhibition reveals the former president’s distinctive character – who he was and why he captivated the public imagination. Developing the sea-going museum required close collaboration with the U.S. Navy, the ship’s builder, and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
